Be PRECISE is a knowledge transfer initiative that seeks to provide growers with the information and knowledge to make informed decisions about whether precision farming techniques are appropriate for their farm system.
sow2succeed (2004-2005)
This initiative helped growers explore the wide range of agronomic and financial implications of altering the date of drilling, within the context of whole farm planning and risk management.
soil2crop (2003-2004)
The soil2crop initiative aimed to help growers improve farm profitability, by increasing their knowledge of soil management and identifying cultivation practices more appropriate to varying conditions.

HGCA is holding a series of farm visits throughout the summer months to demonstrate how precision farming techniques are being used in practice. The visits are part of the year-long 'Be PRECISE' initiative providing information to growers about the benefits of precision farming.
