GrainPlan CD

Download and Installation 

There are two download files for GrainPlan V4.  The ‘Full’ version contains everything you need to install and then run GrainPlan.  However, even with broadband it will take quite a few minutes to download (~6-8 minutes at 220KbB/sec)).  We recommend that you save the download (to Desktop) extract all the files from the zip file and select the setup.exe file.  This will install GrainPlan.

The ‘Lite’ version contains the GrainPlan program but additional software is required if it is not currently present on your computer (Crystal reports and/or .NET framework).  If you opt for this download it is much quicker (~2mins), but you may have to install these additional programs.   If you use the ‘lite’ option, save the download (to Desktop), extract all the files from the zip file and select the setup.exe file.  If you do not have crystal reports on your computer it will ask you to accept the license conditions and will then download the crystal reports files, then .NET framework (if required). GrainPlan (and the other software) will then be installed and a GrainPlan 4 icon placed on your desktop.

Please note: These are large downloads, if you have a dial-up or other low speed internet connection it is strongly recommended that you contact publications@hgca.com to receive a CD by post.
