UK Wheat Favoured for Animal Feed Produce

Cargill will begin using UK wheat in its food and feed ingredient facility, where C*Traffordgold animal feed is manufactured, switching from French maize which is currently used. Using UK wheat results in an improved moist feed which supports high performance in dairy and beef livestock. It also benefits from better storage ability and physical appearance than the product it is replacing. The funding will support promotional activities, including exhibitions and website development.
