Update for 2010 harvest The risk assessment scheme is improved as we acquire more relevant data. With the very wet growing and harvest conditions in 2008 significant changes were made to the scheme. These were essentially rainfall related factors and hence highlighted the need for growers to record rainfall at flowering and in the run up to harvest. 2009 was a relatively dry year and hence no further changes have been made to the scheme for the 2010 harvest. |

Tool
This tool provides growers with means of entering their own risk scores for factors associated with the risk of fusarium mycotoxin developing on wheat.
Click on which tool format you prefer, risk scores are entered and an overall risk value obtained. This will provide a guide on the need to test the grain and its suitability for the milling wheat market. It can be printed out, signed and dated to keep as a record of your risk assessment.
