RD-2004-3022 Better Organic Bread Integrating Raw Material and Process Requirements for Organic Bread Production (LK 0960)
The aim of the project is to assist the UK food industry to produce organic bread of good quality using sustainably produced domestically grown organic wheat.

RD-2008-3378 Utilising adaptive winter wheat populations for increased economic and environmental returns
The overall aim of the project is to improve the performance and stability of performance of winter wheat under environmental conditions that are forecast to become more unpredictable and more costly to ameliorate through inputs.

See precision farming in practice
HGCA is holding a series of farm visits throughout the summer months to demonstrate how precision farming techniques are being used in practice. The visits are part of the year-long 'Be PRECISE' initiative providing information to growers about the benefits of precision farming.
