Varieties
HGCA Recommended Lists are run by Crop Evaluation Ltd, an independent company owned by HGCA and managed by all stakeholders involved in the Lists. Varieties are added to the Lists when they are considered to have the potential to provide a consistent economic benefit to the whole industry.
The main crops of wheat, barley, oats and oilseed rape are assessed for various characteristics, together with descriptive lists of linseed, triticale and rye.
This information is all available in the Varieties section of the website, together with RL Plus tools to help you make the best assessments for your own personal situation.
