Einstein is a high yielding nabim Group 2 variety.

nabim reports that Einstein is used by most millers as a constituent part of bread-making grists. However, with a tendency to produce lower protein content at higher yields and with a lower water absorption, only restricted proportions of this variety can be used in millers grists.

Classified as ukp bread wheat and has support from end users. Low W means it is only suitable for blending into ukp export cargoes.

Treated yield is comparable to varieties such as Robigus.

Has adequate resistance to stem lodging but can be prone to the relatively less common root lodging, which was a problem for some growers in 2007.

Rather susceptible to brown rust but otherwise has no major disease weakness and has above average resistance to Fusarium ear blight.
