Research Contracts

Please note that application forms and guidance notes have been amended as of April 2007. Applications will be accepted on old or new forms for the 11 May 2007 deadline. New documentation must be used for applications submitted for all subsequent deadlines.

Proposals are considered by the R&D Advisory Committee on four occasions each year. This committee is made up of farmers representating the NFU in different areas of the UK and industry representatives. (See Board and Committees for full list).

Committee meetings will be held on the following dates:

15 October 2009
18 February 2010
24 June 2010
16 September 2010

Proposed deadlines for receipt of applications are shown below but may be subject to change. The deadline dates for R&D and KT proposals in 2008/09 are:

4 September 2009
11 December 2009
23 April 2010
6 August 2010
10 December 2010
