Proposals are considered by the R&D Advisory Committee on four occasions each year. This committee is made up of farmers representating the NFU in different areas of the UK and industry representatives. (See Board and Committees for full list).

Proposed deadlines for receipt of applications are shown below but may be subject to change. The deadline dates for R&D and KT proposals in 2007/08 are:
