There have been several trial failures in recent years for oilseed rape in the North region so it has not been possible to make any new recommendations. Four varieties, Compass, Fashion, Krypton and PR45D05, have been re-sown into Recommended List trials and will be considered for recommendation in 2010. The varieties not re-sown are listed in the tables below:
High erucic acid variety
Palmedor is a high erucic acid variety which was tested in RL trials during 2007. Data on the variety can be found here:
