HGCA Research and Knowledge Transfer Strategy 2011–14
HGCA’s new ‘Investing in Innovation’ research and knowledge transfer strategy sets out how HGCA hopes to address the wider research challenges of delivering greater added value for the end user against a background of declining research funding from other sources. It also aims to demonstrate how HGCA will be accountable to the industry for its research investment.
Investing in Innovation highlights the broad priorities for HGCA for the period 2011 to 2014 and will help inform contractors of areas of interest for new commissioning activities. This should be read in conjunction with the Research Priority Matrix, which provides a more detailed map of specific research and KT requirements, as requested by the industry in the 2010 industry consultation exercise conducted by HGCA. The priority matrix will be reviewed and updated annually over the next 3 years.
The 2010 Industry Consultation Summary Report (This document will follow shortly) provides a detailed summary of the strategy questionnaire and consultation meetings held during 2010.
