Porridge, oatcakes, baby foods and breakfast cereals all use a lot of oats, but did you know they are also widely used in things like cosmetics and adhesives too?
Even more of our oats go into animal feed. They thrive on poor soil in cool climates hence their inextricable link with Scotland.
