HGCA, in association with MAGB and nabim, is running a series of regional events specifically covering malting barley and milling wheat production. Featuring a full cooked breakfast at each event, presentations will feature the current market situation, the millers' and maltsters' perspective and a technical update.

For the Malting Barley Breakfasts, the use of digestate and compost will form the focus and for the Milling Wheat Breakfasts the technical update will cover disease implications, tillage options and the opportunities for milling wheat as a second wheat, depending on location.
