Soils, Root and Crop Nutrition is the title of the next HGCA Arable Scottish Monitor Farm meeting in Aberdeenshire.

Root development, soil structure and nutrient availability will all be discussed at the event, also supported by the Scottish Government’s Skills Development Scheme, which sees Monitor Farmer Andrew Booth of Savock Farm allow other farmers access his farm, as well as share the decision-making process.

Farmers from the community group and specialists meet with HGCA’s Arable Scottish Monitor Farmer Andrew Booth six times a year to discuss topics which have also included grain storage and marketing.

The event takes place on 12 July from 2pm at Foveran Hall, Foveran, Aberdeenshire AB41 6BA.
