Sclerotinia Control

Fungicides have very limited curative activity against sclerotinia and will only be very effective when used as protectant sprays. Treatments have limited persistence, providing good control for 10-14 days. The optimum timing of fungicide sprays is usually early to mid-flowering. The optimum for a particular crop is dependent on spore production by sclerotinia and will precede a period when weather conditions favour plant infection.
