Core & Satellite sites

Ten sites have been identified in Britain, ranging from Elgin in Morayshire
to Whitfield in Kent. All sites are representative of different soil types and
conditions. Five of these are ‘core sites’ and include relevant HGCA-funded
trials already in situ. The remaining five ‘satellite’ sites are largely based on
‘volunteered’ farms – some of which are trying non-inversion tillage for the
first time.
