Open dialogue: mutual understanding

Meet the Exporter 2014 events have now finished. The aim of the visits was to provide growers with the opportunity to explore the logistics required to export large amounts of grain.

The events included:
  • Behind-the-scenes look at export logistics: guided tour of the port and lab testing facilities to see the requirements for exports
  • Dialogue between grower and exporter: open conversation to understand overseas customer requirements
  • Learn about HGCA’s BCE: chance to gain knowledge on BCE and the export classifications ukp and uks
